My friend, the beautiful Maxine Shifrin, pictured above, introduced me to Yogi Tea this summer at The Aerie Collective’s Goddess Camp. Drink plain, cold Yogi Tea first thing in the morning as a powerful tonic For a special treat, add just a touch of vanilla extractĨ. Save the drained spices and use them to make a second batch with slightly less waterħ. That way you can store the raw tea in the fridge and prepare with milk and honey as you goĦ. If adding nut milk and honey, do so after adding the black tea and letting it steep - or better yet, add milk and honey to individual cup or a small batch. When it reaches a boil, remove immediately from heat, strainĥ. Add black tea and boil for another 5 minutesĤ. Bring water to a boil and add all spices except the black teaĢ. ![]()
